Many advanced mobiles come with 16gb of ram. The more RAM you have, the grater  amount of  apps you can run in the background. This is great for multitasking, but what about apps that need to be running 24/7, like a smartwatch or VPN app? Well, Android 13 a introduced a new Active Apps button at the bottom of the Quick Settings menu.

Launch it by opening the quick settings menu and tapping the numbered button on the bottom left of the settings. This number represents the number of programs currently running on the system. The new running apps page that appears allows you to select apps to run in the background for 24 hours. Apps that you no longer want to run in the background can also be removed by pressing the Stop button.

If you use Google Assistant you will be amazed that Android 13 has introduced a new feature which will open you Google Assistant by long-press on the Home Button to open your assistant. Although this is a small but useful feature for those who use Google Assistant in their daily life.

5 Limit network bandwidth system-wide:

This feature was introduced primarily for Android developers and advanced users. This feature can also be useful in a variety of situations. Android 13 adds a new option to the hidden developer options to artificially throttle your network bandwidth speed. This feature hasn't been possible system-wide until now, and it'll be pretty interesting once you start thinking about it.

Let's say you have a 100Mbps connection. You limit the usage of your Android smartphone to a maximum. You can limit it to no more than 20Mbps to reduce data usage. You can do this for a month. It can also be useful if there are other devices using your network. You can prevent them from using all your data with this feature.

6 To change the display size and text setting from the same screen:

You may not have always used it, but Android 13 has some great display control options that you should be aware of. Prior to this feature, the display size and font size features were placed in separate sections. To change them, you have to move around.

After the Android 13 update, you can adjust font, display size, bold text and high contrast text from one page. No settings need to be made to change them. To find this new feature, go to Settings > Display > Screen & text size.
